Our recent stay at the hotel was quite a mixed bag. The friendly front desk staff made a great first impression, and the room had a pleasant, clean aroma upon entering. However, the lack of adequate housekeeping throughout our stay was disappointing, and the noise from neighboring rooms made it hard to relax. The breakfast included with our stay was a nice touch, but the quality could use some improvement. Overall, it's decent but could be better, especially considering the value for money.

I had a mixed experience at the Wild Bear Inn. While the location was convenient for attractions and the restaurant's food was a pleasant surprise, the service was quite disappointing, especially during my check-in. The room had some issues, including noise from the nearby pool area and problems with the keys, which made my stay stressful. Overall, there were highlights, but significant improvements are needed to enhance the guest experience.
Rooms

The room was smaller than expected and was right next to the pool, making it quite noisy. We also faced issues with hot water and cable.

I had a pretty good experience at this hotel. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were noteworthy, and I appreciated the convenient location close to many attractions. Staff service could have been a bit more welcoming, but when I had any issues, they responded quickly. Dining was a highlight with delicious pancakes, although the restaurant could improve on wait times for food service. Overall, it's a decent choice for a family getaway.
Rooms

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice bedding, though some areas seemed a bit outdated. I believe they could use a little upgrade to enhance the overall experience.

The staff was quick to resolve any minor issues, but I felt they could have been friendlier during check-in.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff. The on-site restaurant offered a fantastic breakfast, especially those giant pancakes! However, the room could use some updating, and I was placed in a room at the back of the hotel which wasn't as appealing as the remodeled front. Still, the location was convenient for getting around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location is quite convenient for accessing the main attractions, I encountered some significant issues with the room's condition that detracted from my stay. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the amenities offered, like the pool and restaurant, were nice. However, the cleanliness and overall quality of the room left much to be desired, especially considering the price we paid.
Rooms
5.0
The room was dated and had issues with cleanliness. There was a noticeable stale smoke smell and some mold around the air conditioner. I felt the price was too high for what was offered, given it seemed more like a budget motel than a hotel.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly overall, but there were some rude interactions during check-in. Communication could have been better regarding room issues.
Location
8.0
The location was great, being right off the main strip and close to attractions like Dollywood and Gatlinburg. It was also quieter than hotels located in the middle of the action.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were available on-site but limited. The pancakes were notably large, which was a nice perk.
Facilities
7.0
The pool area looked nice, and the on-site tavern had a variety of dining options, providing some convenience during the stay.
